PROBLEMA ERRORE EWS....se se parla qui....

Un mio amico con la Hp2 megamoto ha avuto lo stesso problema.

Sistema sensibile, dunque. Ma se le cose stanno così, mi conferma che non c'è niente che si rompe e che basta spostarsi un po' perché la moto riparta.

Comunque i guidatori di moto BMW sono in buona compagnia: in UK pare il problema si sia manifestato prima e su scala maggiore tanto da dar luogo ad un comitato dei costruttori ed utilizzatori:

"The RAKE Committee (more simply referred to as 'RAKE' in the remainder of this document) has been established in response to the increasing number of UK motorists who are experiencing problems with vehicles fitted with 433 MHz radio controlled security systems. The radio key access problem has been extensively highlighted in the UK media. RAKE comprises organisations whose members or customers are adversely affected by these problems. These include the Radio Society of Great Britain, the Motor Industry Research Association representing the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, the Royal Automobile Club, the Automobile Association, the Low Power Radio Association, the Radiocommunications Agency, Sold Secure Ltd, the Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre (Thatcham), the Electronic Vehicle Security Association and the Police Scientific Development Branch. Failure of the 433MHz key fob transmission to gain access to the vehicle and to disable the vehicle alarm and immobiliser is resulting in motoring organisations in the UK experiencing tens of thousands of calls per year for assistance. A RAKE survey of manufacturers has revealed that more than 2 million vehicles have been sold up to the end of 1996 with a 433MHz system fitted. This is expected to increase at a rate of 1.1 million vehicles per year. These figures exclude aftermarket fitted systems. Based on the motoring organisations records to date, 3% to 5% of these vehicles will experience a problem with their 433MHz radio key security system. "

E sono di nuovo solo.
Luca e' sceso dalla nave, appena toccato terra la moto non si e' piu' avviata. E' comparso il messaggio EWS, guasto elettronico. Credo sia la stessa cosa successa alla mia, manca il colloquio fra centralina e chiave di accensione. Scherzi dell'elettronica. Scherzi del cavolo.
A me successe nel mio garage, a Luca sulla banchina del porto di Bergen.
Dopo la telefonata al numero fornito da BMW sono passate due ore, poi è comparso un carro attrezzi che si è portato via la moto e anche Luca.
A me non è restato che riprendere la strada, tanto per Luca non potevo far nulla.
BMW per rimpatriare la moto pretende un fermo moto di 36 ore, vedremo se domani riusciranno a sistemarla, nel qual caso Luca mi raggiungerà.
Altrimenti prenderà un aereo e buonanotte.

Luca è a casa, ma l'officina ha comunicato a BMW che la moto sarà pronta entro tre giorni lavorativi, per cui presumo che l'assicurazione si fara' di nebbia.
Si parla di 4500 Euro + IVa per il trasporto, fossi io appena completamente guarito salterei su un aereo (anche se odio volare) e me la riporterei a casa appena possibile, un bel fine settimana diverso dal solito e meno costoso del trasporto (anche mettendola sul treno).
