I agree, I don't think it's anywhere near epidemic proportions, but I'd still like to find a permanent solution. THE worst thing to me is unreliability ... no it's not okay to have to pull the battery out (assuming you have the proper size tool in your pocket), spit on the battery, stand on one leg (only works with the right), and chant some secret "makes it work again" words. I can't imagine telling my customers to just "pull the battery and re-install it and that should fix it"!
