A distanza di un paio di settimana dall'apertura del ticket, oggi mi è arrivata la risposta del supporto dell'app Connected:
Dear xxxxxx,
Thank you for your e-mail. We appreciate your efforts to direct your request to us.
In the meantime we know about the mentioned behaviour that you have to download more map material than is actually needed. This is causes by a bug in the new version 5.0 of BMW Motorrad Connected App. There is already a ticket submitted to the responsible developers. A bugfix will be released as soon as possible. Please just be patient.
Until then, however, the download is required. Of course, map material that is not needed can be deleted again as soon as the remedy mentioned is available.
