Dakar 2021, SS2 - P8 (from P28). We had a lot of passing to do, including 4 trucks, and tons of dust to fight through... lost time very early on into the stage getting stuck in the dunes with other vehicles in a really bad line. We must’ve passed dozens of competitors from there on, quickly reeling in the pack. Navigation was again very tricky and difficult, with many cars backtracking head on towards us. I was pretty confident in my nav today though, no real backtracking, and Brian was driving beautifully, so we’re feeling good!
Ps. Spot the navigator having a sand shower...
