- K1300 GT fuori produzione nel corso del 2011 sostituita dalla 1600 GT
- niente retromarcia perchè la GTL è "lightweight" e pesa meno dell LT
- la GT/GTL fanno concorrenza alla Honda ST 1300 ed alla Goldwing
- non dice che la GTL è la sostituta della LT ma che rappresenta la nuova ammiraglia della linea touring di BMW
